
Aromatherapy essential oils can help to support your weight loss efforts. The oils work in a subtle way to help to relieve whatever is stressing you and causing you to overeat, whether the stresses are mental, emotional, or physical.
Get yourself in balance
There are no oils which are specifically designed for weight loss; it’s best to have a blend specially made up for you by a naturopath, or aromatherapist. The clinician will talk to you, and work out which combination of oils will help to bring your system back into balance. If you consult an aromatherapist, you’ll usually get an initial massage, and be given a blend of oils which you can use for self-massage at home.
If you can’t get to a clinic, you can experiment on your own. Your aim is always to get yourself into balance, and there are several oils which are well known for balancing your system. Try lavender, geranium, clary sage, and ylang ylang.
Essential oils aren’t a magic bullet when it comes to weight loss. However, they’re amazingly effective, completely natural, and a healthy weight loss aid.
