Weight loss news: yummy, the cookie diet

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, and who hasn’t, “Doctor Develops Cookie Diet” may be a dream come true:

Siegel said the cookies can be used as a snack or meal replacement and it says right on the package that medical supervision is recommended.

“The doctor is the one who will make the decision as to how many calories this person should have,” Siegel said. “Of course, the lower the calories the faster the weight loss.”

Of course, there’s a catch to this, there had to be. You can have a cookie as a snack, and can also replace meals with a cookie or two, but you can’t ADD the cookies to your weight loss diet.

The challenge with adding cookies to your diet is the sugar. Your experience may be different, but I’ve noticed that cookies make me hungry. You get a fast sugar hit, and within an hour or two, you’re hungry. These “diet cookies” are said to have appetite suppressants baked in, however.

If you’ve tried the cookies, please share your experiences with them in the Comments.
