Weight loss is a commitment, and sometimes you’re just not ready to commit. When you are ready to lose weight, you will know that you are.
If you’ve failed at weight loss before
Many people “fail” at weight loss. They lose the weight they’ve gained, are happy that they’re arrived at their goal weight, are thrilled that they look great… but a year or two later, their weight is back to what it was before, and they’ve piled on even more weight than before.
This happens to many people, so please don’t feel that you’ve failed. Often it means that the issues which caused you to gain weight haven’t been resolved. It can help to see a psychologist, to discover whether you have emotional challenges which are causing you to overeat, or to eat for comfort and to dull emotional pain.
Weight loss is a journey; it’s not a destination. It’s far more important that you be happy with the person you are, and your life.
When you’re ready to commit to losing weight, and to keeping it off, you will know it.
Tip: if losing weight scares you, or just seems too difficult, try hypnosis for weight loss. Hypnosis will often help you to resolve issues, and to be comfortable with losing weight.
