Cabbage soup diet: your fast weight loss recipe

Want to kickstart your weight loss? The Cabbage Soup Diet has been around for a while. It promises fast weight loss. Although you shouldn’t stay on this diet for more than two days, it gets fast results. Please see your doctor before you try this diet.

Here is a recipe for the Cabbage Soup Diet soup:

Cabbage Soup Diet Recipe

3 onions

1 large bunch of celery

1 green pepper

2 large cans of tomatoes, crushed or diced

1 small head cabbage

2 packets onion soup, or 2 tins onion soup

2 tablespoons diced fresh ginger

10 cups of water

Add salt, pepper to taste.

How to make:

Clean all the vegetables, and slice them thinly. Spray a large pot with cooking spray – just cover the base and sides of the pot with a thin film of oil.

Add the onions, celery, fresh ginger, and green pepper, and sweat them with the pot lid on.

Stir, then add the tins of tomato and the sliced cabbage.

Stir again, and add the packets of onion soup. Add the water.

Bring the soup to a low simmer, then turn the heat to low. The soup is ready to eat within half an hour, but you can cook it for up to an hour if you wish.

On the Cabbage Soup Diet, you eat this soup for every meal.

Remember, two days on this diet – no longer.
