Which diet really works? You’ll be amazed

Anna Richardson followed some extreme diets in an effort to lose weight, including the apple diet, during which she ate only apples.

After weeks of horrible diets, she talks to an expert.

Here The great weight race: Which extreme weight-loss methods really work? | the Daily Mail she says:

“I then travel into central London to do an interview with someone sensible – Professor Tony Moffat of the London School of Pharmacy.

He has analysed more than ten different slimming products which the programme makers have bought over the counter, and despite the myriad claims, they all generally do one of four things: have a bulking effect (to make you feel full); a laxative effect; a diuretic effect; or act as a stimulant/appetite suppressant.

When I ask Tony what really works, his answer is simple: eat a healthy, balanced diet and move your body a bit more. Boring but true.”

So if you’re thinking of trying yet another fad diet – don’t. Eat well, and exercise.
