2. Cut back on salt

Excessive salt intake can cause bloating and acidity. If you don’t control your salt intake in time, you can suffer from water retention problems. This will result in an abnormal weight gain. Therefore, limit your salt intake and try to use other spices in your food whenever possible.

3. Don’t Crash diet

Many people, in the hopes of losing weight quickly, starve for days. Starving doesn’t do you any good; in fact, it does a lot of harm to your body. When you starve, your body tends to think that there is a famine and that if it doesn’t conserve energy, it will eventually die. Therefore, your body starts to conserve energy in the form of fat. This process continues as long as you starve. Overtime, you will see that as you return back to your normal diet, you will gain back the few pounds you had lost.

Also, starving results in loss of valuable muscles. Don’t be surprised if you get fatigued within a few days of starvation.

A better option to crash dieting is that of replacing junk and fatty foods with their healthier substitutes. You won’t gain weight by eating healthy foods; instead, you will lose it.

You see, when you change just a few habits, quick weight loss is much simpler than you think it to be.
