SunHerald.com : A Simple Weight Loss Diet: Scientific, Safe and Basically Free reports:
“The Pen and Paper Diet, a new book by Michael Dow, provides a simple solution for weight loss and a way for a person to maintain their ideal weight. As the title implies, all one needs is pen and paper to control their weight.
Dow says the book is based on science because ‘it uses research about estimated calorie requirements for people with different physical activity levels from the National Academy of Sciences. Also, total calorie content about the majority of the world’s foods and many beverages are provided in the book which was obtained from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).’
‘The diet is safe because a person doesn’t have to take any diet pills. You just keep eating the types of foods that you like and you’ll end up losing weight with this program,’ says Dow. ‘You don’t have to worry about any side effects with a diet pill. You also don’t have to avoid certain types of foods or seasonings like salt or carbs.’”
Sounds good to me. And it makes me curious, too.
