Here’s one of my favorite recipes to get you started.
Dieters’ French Onion Soup — serves four
3 or 4 large onions, thinly sliced
4 tablespoons butter
4 10 oz Cans of beef broth
Worcestershire sauce to taste
Pepper
6 slices bread, cut thick
3/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 cup grated cheeseCook onions in butter until translucent, stirring all the while. Add broth, worcestershire sauce and pepper, stir until boiling. Pour into individual ovenproof bowls. Float bread sprinkled with cheese on top. Place under broiler and heat until cheese bubbles.
