
Are you always “on a diet”?
You’ve got your poor body very confused. If you’re always on a diet, admit it — you’re not really dieting to lose weight at all.
Switch your mindset: decide to eat healthily, rather than dieting.
Then make better food choices when you can.
It helps to remind yourself, several times a day, because you won’t remember. I have a friend who scrawls a big “H” (for Health) on her wrist every day. She thought she’d give it up after a week or two, but she’s got into the habit of seeing the H there, and it helps her, so she keeps it there.
“Does it make a difference?” I asked.
She says it does. The big difference for her initially, was eating breakfast. Then she went on the Banana Diet, and to date she’s lost 22 pounds over three months.
So stop dieting: eat healthily instead, it works.
