That’s because there is no guess work involved: Cook some cabbage soup and that’s what you will eat for every meal and snack. 4. Low-carbohydrate diets. There are many of these diets around, most notably the Atkins and South Beach diets. While they can be complicated to follow, they offer spectacularly quick results. For simple-to-follow version, try eliminating white foods: sugar, salt, flour, rice, pasta and potatoes.
5. Just say no. Perhaps the best diets for working women are the ones they create themselves. After all, they know what foods they like and don’t like and which are easiest to work into their crowded schedule. Why not try eliminating all between-meal snacks, junk food and second helpings? If temptation beckons, drink a tall glass of water or take a quick walk. You can lose a lot of weight by just cutting out a few bad habits.
Even the best diets will work better if you work a little exercise into your day. You don’t have to become an Olympic athlete, just do something, anything to get moving: Go for a brisk walk.
